Hamburger

Sitting beside my two lovely daughters during the pandemic, I was thinking of what else we all can do to spend our precious time with. So I ask the youngest of my daughters what she wants for a snack? She says if only the fast-food near us is open she would want to have some burgers. So I suggest her. Why don't we just made it for ourselves? If she would help me, we all can eat the burger she's craving to eat. And from there we start.

Ingredients

For patty
1/4 Kilo of Ground beef
1 large egg
2 cloves of garlic minced
1/4 cup of minced onion
1/4 cup of bread crumbs
1 tablespoon of Worcestershire
Salt ad pepper for seasoning
Optional(A few drops of olive oil in each patty after cooking)

For mayonnaise
1 Egg yolk (I added the egg white to the patty)
1 tablespoon of mustard
1 cup of Sun Flower Oil(Or anything oil will do)
1 Tablespoon of lemon(Or lime will also do)
Salt and pepper for seasoning

Other ingredients
4 Burger buns split into two
4 leaves of Lettuce
Onion slice into rings
tomatoes slice thinly
ketchup (optional)

Procedure

In a mixing bowl, combine egg yolk and mustard. Mix till emulsified.  Slowly add oil so that it will not split. Add lemon and season.

In another bowl combine ground beef egg, minced garlic, minced onion, bread crumbs, Worcestershire, and seasoned. Divide the mixture into four equal parts.

Heat a pan lay buns cut side down on a fan. Then set aside. Add oil to the heated pan fry the burger till golden on each side.

Spread mayonnaise at each side of the buns. Place the burger patty on one side and lay on top with lettuce, a slice of onion, and tomatoes, and pour a little ketchup if desired. Set bun topped in place.

Good for four servings.

Enjoy like my family does.
